Mark your calendars for Tuesday November 6, 2012.  The biggest news that day - which trumps anything else that might possibly be going on -  is that we're finally releasing our new single Gone and Done It Now! In addition to the single we'll be releasing the video, directed by Mark Spacek. We'll also be launching a different web site - featuring more content, more store items and a growing list of upcoming tour dates! Very exciting times here in the WMMF camp. Stay tuned!

Hidy ho! Well, we're a little under a week out from our show at Hotel Vegas in Austin - have you secured your tickets yet? Just to make sure we're clear here: Friday May 11, 2012, we will be playing an intimate set at Hotel Vegas as part of the "In The Room' series, wherein you get a full night - TWO 1hr+ sets - of What Made Milwaukee Famous! We'll be playing lots from our upcoming LP, "You Can't Fall Off The Floor," as well as many choice cuts from our past records. Our sets will be padded before, during and after by local DJs, ensuring all-around good times, hip swaying and such. DON'T MISS THIS SHOW!

KICKSTARTER CAMPAIGN IN FULL SWING:

While we're at it..did you know that we launched a Kickstarter campaign this past week to help us raise funds to shoot and promote a video for the first single off our upcoming LP? Did you know that? Well, let's assume you didn't. Here's what you need to know: We launched a Kickstarter campaign in hopes that assistance from our friends, fans, family and loved ones will help us raise enough funds to shoot a video for our first single, "Gone And Done It Now" off our upcoming LP, "You Can't Fall Off The Floor," due out this summer. We've been hard at work on this album for a while now and have had to battle all kinds of adversity to see it through. But alas, we're here. It's done! That said, we're in need of a little assistance to, well, "kickstart" the album properly so that we can share it with ears far and wide. WMMF To Play Marquette Radio Spring Concert

We'll be making a weekend trip to the birth of our namesake, Milwaukee Wisconsin, the weekend of April 28th to play the Marquette University Radio Station's Spring Concert! With a new album done and plans for touring in the works, we thought this would be a nice chance to escape our native Texas and wet our whistle a little bit with some of Milwaukee's finest before things start rolling. It's a FREE SHOW for those in the area! We hope to see everyone there!

Free Press Summer Festival 2012!

The Free Press Summer Festival in Houston, TX just released their lineup a few weeks back. We're really happy to be included in the lineup again this year! We were honored to be a part of the very first Summer Fest back in 2009:





  

Its so crazy to see how much its really grown since then! Houston finally has a legit music festival.  This year's lineup looks really good, too!  Houston native, and our dear friend Robert Ellis  will be playing, as well as our friends Ume - but we're really excited about The Flaming Lips performing 'The Dark Side Of The Moon' in its entirety. Hells yes. 

If you don't have plans already, then you should get your butts down to Houston June 2-3 this year. You can sweat it out with us and hope it doesn't rain!
